So often people think of salvation in the temporal. Very few get or understand the truest meaning of what it means to be saved. Salvation determines where you spend eternity. That doesn't mean that God doesn't bless us along the way. Miracles and blessings are all around us.
But once you've been saved... You've been saved. No turning back
I often think about the love of God. How amazing and overwhelming it is. I mean as humans we feel emotions. Love, hate, indifference. We feel all of these things.
But when I think about what it's going to be like. Standing before the Lord. I know I'm going to answer for the things I've done.
I also know that through the saving grace of Jesus Christ, I've been forgiven and saved. (Maybe one day I'll believe that and lay my burdens down).
God has forgiven me. He loves me. All my faults. All my failings. He still loves me. No human on earth can love us so unconditionally.
We try. But people are people and because we live in a flawed and sinful world we can never live up to the love of the Lord.
To bask in the glow of his glory.
No matter the time of day. God it faithful. If ever there is a love we should shout from the rooftops..
He is faithful.. Even when I am not.
26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
I think most of us have heard the saying "If you haven't anything nice to say then say nothing at all."
It seems we live in a world where people preach about being the change in one sentence and then spewing out hate-filled words in the next. We preach about no bullying while bullying those who don't support or believe in what we do.
Maybe it's time to back our words with our actions. Don't just say you want to be the change. BE the change. Otherwise words are just that.. Words..
Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
After losing someone you love you realize that life is nothing more than a series of memories..
Time is fleeting.. Life is precious..
The greatest gifts my father left me aren't things. It's memories and there is no amount of money that could ever replace them.
Maybe we should stop competing over who has the most things and start competing with who makes the most beautiful memories.
I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,
