GeorgiaSo my big thing right now is HelloFresh. It's my new favorite thing. Delivered to my door. Everything you need.. Delivered to your door. Cranberry Thyme Duck was on the menu last week. This was the first time that I've ever had duck. It was delish. I'm going back for more AmyOne of my favorite beverages to make in summer is lavender lemonade. I use dried culinary lavender for it so it doesn't qualify as "fresh" herbs. As it turns out a new coworker grows fresh herbs and she shared some rosemary with. I thought why not try making rosemary lemonade? Turns out it's delicious! There are many recipes all over the internet for rosemary lemonade. What I did was throw a few sprigs into a saucepan with a couple of cups of water. I brought it to a boil then turned it down and put a lid on the pan and allowed it to simmer for 15 minutes. Allow to cool to room temperature. You may wish to make a simple syrup. A combo of sugar and honey can be quite nice. I used less than 1/2 cup of Splenda ( it dissolves easily). Combine a simple syrup and about 1/2 cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice in a pitcher. Add the cooled rosemary infused water and stir. Add fresh water(about 2 cups) and stir. Serve with fresh rosemary sprigs(if desired). JenNikitaYa'll! This dish is probably one of the prettiest I have been able to put together for dinner. While most of the ingredients are Indian spices, it's the fresh mint that really pulls this recipe together. The salmon is crusted in garam masala, turmeric, paprika, & more. The rice that is paired with the salmon was featured on our Turmeric edition when I simmered the basmati rice in coconut milk and spices. I topped the salmon with a fresh kick of greek yogurt mixed with orange juice and zest. Give this a try! You will be sure to impress.
