Georgia For some reason baking the perfect loaf of bread has been my goal recently. Well I think I succeeded. This loaf rose beautifully and baked to perfection. Crunchy on the outside, light and airy on the inside. This main ingredient for this was bottled water with no minerals.
If you are looking for a fairly simple, yet delicious bread recipe, look not further. Until next week, Georgia Georgia This past week was Valentine's Day.
I confess I have a love hate relationship with Valentine's Day. Most know it's nothing more than a made up Hallmark holiday. Fabricated and grossly commercialized. I absolutely hate the idea of a loved one doing something because they feel obligated. There's no love in that. But.. How wonderful it is that we set apart a day just for love. One day when everyone is passing out sweet reminders that you matter. Maybe we should make Valentines Day the day we set our New Years resolutions. And resolve to be more about love and less about hate. Yeah.. I'm going with that.. And I'm going to start with these lil heart shape chocolate chip cookie dough cuties. Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. Georgia Georgia It was Randy's week to bring breakfast for his men's group. So I made a green chili breakfast casserole and cherry pecan scones. Rumor has it I'm his lovely wife. Men and their stomachs. I used this simple sweet scone recipe and just added dried cherries and chopped pecans. So nice they didn't even need butter or jam. AmyI'm still trying to embrace grapefruit.... I loved this. Coconut Baked Oatmeal It looks like it was a pretty decent bake week for both Amy and I.

(Makes 8-10 muffins…) NikitaCheck out this adorable cake stand my friend, Makayla, found for me. The simple white goes well with my kitchen and makes these cute miniature cherry pies pop visually! Now, I need a round dome to go over the top. Feel free to send me recommendations when you see something. BTW, I used cherry pie filling in the can because it's not cherry season..... Two lovely bake options from Amy and Nikita
