We'll see Until next week, Georgia NikitaTypically, Valentine's Day invites a sweet chocolate dessert, but I was intrigued by a recipe shared online by a Facebook friend. I happened to have every single one of the ingredients, so why not? Thus, I made Whipping Cream Pound Cake. This cake has a crispy outer crust and is dense and moist on the inside. Because the cake has so much batter to bake, it took my oven 1.5 hours to pass the dry wooden skewer check. I was definitely getting impatient by an hour, so just hold out. We topped it with strawberries and lemon whipped cream. Christopher helped with our lovely plating. A perfect finish! Georgia At church we offer a breakfast in between services for all who would like to join us. This week was my team's turn in the kitchen. I baked a few yummy's. Italian Thumbprint cookies and Maple & Brown Sugar Scones. This week I'm sharing the Thumbprint cookies. I love making thumbprint cookies because it is a fun way to use up any leftover preserves. Until next week!
