Amy If you have yet to notice I am not much of a baker. I lack the skill for baking pretty confectionary delights. I work with what I have as far as talent and dietary restrictions. Type 2 Diabetes put a damper on my eating career. But it has made me a mindful eater. One day a year or so I go I discovered this absolutely gorgeous loaf pan made by Nordic Ware (shameless plug). At the time I didn't think that it would be worth the investment. Since then Georgia's blog has evolved and steadily grown. With the inclusion of the Sunday bake I decided to splurge on this Harvest loaf pan. It is just as beautiful in person and follow the directions that come with and you'll be looking for excuses to use this pan. My first attempt with it I wanted to make a bread that would make a lovely coupling with yesterday's Saturday Bites challenge. I skimmed through my pumpkin cookbook and found the perfect recipe for the inaugural use of my loaf pan. If you can't tell, I was pretty jazzed. It's suggested use is to serve as a tea bread or toasted lightly for breakfast. I don't believe anyone will regret baking this bread.
NikitaWho doesn't love Crinkle Cookies? These particular cookies satisfied my craving of fudgey, chewy dark chocolate brownies. SOOO DELISH! Caution: Powdered sugar trail may be left behind if you are walking and eating cookies at the same time. Recipe was found on Pinterest.
