Tha Smoovie
Adapted from: From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg's Kitchen by Snoop Dogg
Serves 1
2 cups fresh spinach
1 medium orange, peeled and quartered
1 medium banana, sliced
2 cups coconut water
2 Tbsp. Protein powder ( optional)
In a blender, combine the spinach, orange, banana, coconut water and protein powder( if using). Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately.
Tha Flip
Mix it up with pineapple, apples, kale, or whatever you got on deck. The point is to get the fuel to get you through the day.
On a personal note I will use either plain Greek yogurt or powdered eggs in lieu of protein powder.
In the end Tha Smoovie is fresh, yummy and full of all things you need for healthy energy.
