Amy I can remember the first time I tried miso. I'm normally not a big fan of salty but that first spoonful of miso soup I was hooked. That was over 20 years ago and I could only find it at a local health food store. Miso is finally having its moment and it's about time! I've made different recipes involving miso but I always go back to soup. The latest issue of Saveur magazine has a perfect soup. I had to improvise a little bit but it still turned out great! The dish on the other hand was pretty tasty. If you are a miso or ramen person. Which we are both. Super simple. They actually make miso ramen. We bought the ramen, made it per the instructions, added some hard boiled eggs, veggies and green onions. Very easy, quick and delicious dinner or even lunch.
