AmyI just realized that I should had made this before the Oscars. Would have made for a fun treat for people who have 4 hours of their lives wasted . I prefer watching that back end of the Golden Globes because everyone there is usually hammered by then. I digress. Honey Peanut Butter Popcorn from thegingerwhisk.com I'm sharing the recipe as it is on the Ginger Whisk blog but I did not use nearly as much sugar and honey as the recipe calks for. 3/4 cup popcorn kernels 1/2 cup honey 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup peanut butter (crunchy or creamy) 1/2 tsp. vanilla Pop the popcorn. Sift and remove unpopped kernels. Put in a large bowl. In a medium saucepan, melt the honey and sugar together, stirring occasionally, until simmering. Allow to simmer for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, over medium-low heat. Add peanut butter abd vanilla and stir until well combined. Remove from heat and pour the sauce over the popcorn. Mix well until the popcorn is evenly coated. Add: salted roasted peanuts, chocolate covered candies, or chocolate chips. GeorgiaApparently mug cake is my go to these days when I need to satisfy my sweet tooth. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Mug Cake Single serving creamy, fluffy, eggless peanut butter cake mixed with gooey melted chocolate chips. Cooks in the microwave and is ready in minutes. Ingredients:
Very important note.. Don't overcook. It doesn't necessarily burn.. But dries it out terribly.. Happy Sunday
